On one hand, Ron Wilson said he respects Sundin for not rushing back if he is unsure whether or not he wants to play -- adding that he would welcome back the longtime Leafs captain with open arms.
On the other hand, Wilson suggested that one of the problems with the sad-sack Leafs last year was a distinct lack of leadership.
And you don't have to be Howie Meeker to connect the dots there, that leadership is supposed to be one of the major responsibilities of the team captain.

OK, my daughter thinks Sponge Bob, Patrick, and Squidward would do well.
She said that Sponge Bob kind of reminds her of Cliff Fletcher.
I told her Sponge Bob is far more coherent, and they were better off in Bikini Bottom.

The Leafs don't need a new coach. They should assign one of the players as a "Playing Coach". This way the whole organization can be run by committee.

At this point who care I am so tired tired of the leaf crap...I've been a fan 35 years ...Other than the team in 79' and the one in 92' they've never been a serious player in the Stanley Cup run...I like to be the GM for a day man would I clean house ...As far as coaching the team? Who would want to and why? The out come will always be the same ...THE TORONTO FANS ARE TOO SOFT !!!We need to do what the Habs fan do boycott ...So let the suits fill the Platinum seats....lets boycott all the others...
