Will the Penguins contend again?
Thu, June 12, 2008

At the very moment the Detroit Red Wings were holding their Stanley Cup parade Friday, the Pittsburgh Penguins were saying goodbye and heading off into a shorter-than-usal off-season.

The next time they meet, some won't be wearing Penguins uniforms, a certainty given the NHL salary cap that prevents good teams from staying together for a long time.
Full story: Penguins know roster will change before next season

Cammerletti is an up grade over Tanguay and his 18 goals lol You should lay low just from being an Oilers fan you clown LMAO

Wayne, be careful my man, you will be eating crow next season. If I were a Flames fan I would kinda lay low after dealing Tanguay. Cammeletti, good player, second coming of christ, not so much. By the way are you the new resdident tough cyber guy?
Disgruntledfan, 2008-06-21 14:08:29

loser

your name says it all about your numb nut. you know as much about hockey as pete the 12 year old kid which is nothing you tool.

wake up and smell the coffee idiot, leafs suck just as much as you do goof
Wayne, 2008-06-20 08:27:43

pete 12 year old kid

yea you being a oilers fan shows us how little you know about hockey kid.

get a clue fool, oilers suck and will for a long time.
Wayne, 2008-06-20 08:25:08

What kind of question is this? Of course they will. All their good players are still very young.
gordholio, 2008-06-17 01:31:55

Beats the hell out of me

They might or might not win the cup next year. It all depends on what happens in the off season.

Again...someone shook their jockstrap, and rubbed wayne the wrong way in the process.

First of all, here's what you do,my lil'crotch criquet...Go get somebody that UNDERSTANDS what he reads ( preferably, NOT one of your immediate family) and read my comment again....Better?..Maybe now you're starting to understand that there were NO mention of fighting anywhere.

Ruutu got knocked down to the ice by a mid-ice body check from Kronwall, hence the expression FLATTENED.

Roberts blind-sided Franzen, hence the expression "a la Bertuzzi".(see..no mention of "fighting" anywhere).

If your daytime job consists of scouting for the Toronto maple leafs,i somewhat understand your inadequacy in understanding common sense...otherwise...me & fellow bloggers might get the idea that the true "dumb one" might be the same one who fails to understand what he reads.

Wayne "who knows nothing about hockey". Ruutu and Grandpa Roberts are typical Leafs and 1970/80 Montreal types. Lip off, face rub allot of dirty stuff wtih the sticks and then act all tough when the ref is seperating them from the player. To emulate Roberts speaks volumes of your character, he is arguably the dirtiest, leas respectful player in the league. Pittsburg has one bonified tough guy, George Laroque. Wayne every time you open your mouth or type something you show your ignorance. Datsyuk would kick the crap out of the old man. The Wings (not my team) have been well schooled to turn the other cheek during the playoffs. By the way can you explain why the tough Penguins were all going after a guy with the head shots that just returned from concussion problems. Real classy move, not unlike yourself, clown.
Pete, 2008-05-30 08:51:04

LOL @ loser saying Ruutu and Roberts were flattened.

They werent fights, it was a scrum and nothing more. Do you think Datsyuk would drop the gloves with Roberts or Ruutu ? If you do then you are even dumber than Pete the 12 year old kid.

Yes Ruutu can fight, he doesnt fight a lot but I saw him fight a few times when he played for Vancouver and he did well enough he could take anyone on Detroit no problem.
Wayne, 2008-05-29 21:47:14

See, there are two different Petes. Loser since 67 and probably allot longer. I finally agree with you on something. Your views/comments on your latest below. are spot on. The comment from the other Pete below are not mine.
