The good news in the Game 7 loss to the Sharks was the Flames showed enough character to take the series against a favoured team to the limit, especially when they trailed after five games.
The bad news is they were thrashed when it mattered most.
What happened to the Flames? What were they missing in their lineup to put them over the edge and wins a playoff series? Have your say in our forum.
Move to pull Kipper stinks
Spoken like a true Oilers or Canucks fan. The Flames have probably the best and deepest group of defencemen in the league.
Sure they could use 2 more good forwards but what they lack in talent they more than make up with in hard work.

Flames overated, by who? You maybe.
Funny how some of you self-important people like to believe you know so much but just come across as a boob.
oh well.....time will tell

While we're at it, lets change this STUPID point system. ZERO points for a loss, or 3 points for a regulation win (Lets make a game won in regulation worth the same as a game won in a shootout)

They rely on Iggy way to much. Gotta feel for him though, he gives 100 % every shift and every game, he is a great player and leader but he cant do it all every game by himself.

or does it. You are all right Canada is the greatest country in the world. We as Canucks are the most generous hospitable people on earth
we have overcome obstacles
like our biggest most influential financing centres blown to bits from
crazed fundementalists and rallied to our countries needs. We have overcome nowhere near the travesties
other countries have. Probably because we are a new country, ya right seems to me we caved to the british during the revolutionary period while
Freemasons where kicking british butt to form the new frontier of America. Canada is nothing more than a northern state with an imaginary border, and if you read anything you will find this border will disappear in the future along with our constitution
manifest destiny remember Grade school.I am not a hateful person but this gives me a bad taste of how
you are rallying without giving it a deeper look.
Reminds me of nazi Germany.
All I am trying to say is
we are not as great as we think. my god look at the world health statistics or the IMF statistics ,GDP per capita. We have yet to prove ourselves in a crisis
situation, unless you think
the sars outbreak is huge
on the international scope of disasters. You might be right I might be wrong only
time will tell.
I hope we can concentrate on hockey now. orv.

I am in Toronto. Anytime your in the area im game man. Its people like you that travel abroad and give the rest of us a bad name. There is nothing wrong with that I AM CANADAIN baseball cap you say you saw a Canadian wearing in a foreign country. I have 1 also and I would wear it any place in the world because I am a proud Canadian, not to be arrogant.
Molson Canadian had them baseball caps and t-shirts in there cases of beer for Canada's birthday celebrations. I also have the t-shirt.

All I did point out was that when it comes to Canada's international image, the opinion of those born, raised and living in other countries/continents mean more to me than a travelling Canadian who thinks his countrymen are arrogant. I asked some of those people --- and there is at least one person in each of the U.K., East Asia, the Caribbean, the U.S. (yes, the U.S.) and Europe who beg to differ with you.
