Wed, April 2, 2008

HAMILTON - The Canadian Football Hall of Fame is set to welcome five new members.

Former CFL stars Doug Flutie, Michael (Pinball) Clemons, Mike Pringle and John Bonk will be inducted as players. Tom Shepherd, who began his involvement with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1966, will enter in the builder's category.

Who???....What???... D-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-H !!!

OK I'm back - Next Question.

Doug Flutie was one of the best, if not THE best ambassador our game ever had. I wish a lot more of the athletes who got their career started in the CFL were as loyal to the peculiarities of our brand of football as the Flutie brothers have been. To keep him out, after all he did to promote Canadian football, would be an insult to every player who's in there.

I ahve to agree with everyone else here, this is without doubt the stupid question of the year.

Hall of fame absolutely,

What? How could you think of such an idiotic questions? Should whomever asked this question receive a paycheck this week? I vote no.
Al, 2008-04-02 17:32:16

YES he should definately be in the Canadian Hall of Fame. Yes Yes
G. Reid, 2008-04-02 17:32:10

Let's 6 outstanding player awards, 3 grey cups.... if that doesn't qualify for CFL HOF, then who does belong??
Mario, 2008-04-02 17:20:41

Doug Flutie thrilled spectators with his raw athletic ability and passion for the game. This was the reason why fans voted him the CFL's greatest player. Enough said. Who gives a darn about where he was born. He lived and breathed Canada the whole time he was up here. Even Winnipeg loved him.
Reg, 2008-04-02 17:12:25

Yes he absolutely should be inducted. He is one of the greatest CFL'ers ever. If you are suggesting he should not be, then, maybe it is time for a new career for you??

I agree with Larry, of course he should be in. He was a star in the CFL without a doubt !!

Who comes up with dumbass questions.... Why wouldn't or shouldn't he be? He was awesome on all the teams he played on...
