Why is this a surprise to anyone, if you cannot win at the start of the year, and you cannot win mid year, what makes you think you can win at the end of the year. They are a bad team, it is time to clean house. Keep this in mind with a full house on expensive tickets the cleaning will probably be light. People have to stop supporting a bad team, the ownership laughs all the way to the bank. For you Ottawa fans, they will be out the first round.

Hopefully a complete revamp and new outlook. Underneath all my teasing Leafs fans, I would really like to see them be proud again. I used to actually like them when Gilmour and Clark were around. Here's hoping.

GOOD....now can we get on with life...

Sorry Leaf fools...I mean fans but you need not look any further then the Chicago Cubs to see your future - 100 years and counting!
As long as they are owned by a Pension fund, winning will always take a back seat behind the balance sheet.
Since the Leaf org. is too stupid to hire someone like David Conte from Jersey (have the Leafs ever had a great farm system?), maybe somebody will step-up in the media, offer Mrs. Burke a rich broadcasting job in TO and lure her husband.

Fore!!!! Well done Bruins!

Should any of the Leaf Nation faithful be surprised at the season's outcome? Clearly, its another case of too little , too late. The talent pool is too thin to compete with the better teams. Even if the Leafs did make the palyoffs(think of all the $$$ the management lost)it would be bye bye in four games. Evidently, the ghost of Harold Ballard lives on.
A truly sad state of affairs with no light at the end of the tunnel.
