The Maple Leafs have traded Carlo Colaicovo and Alex Steen to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Lee Stempniak.
Stempniak, 25, a native of West Seneca, N.Y., scored 27 goals two seasons ago.
This season, he has three goals and 10 assists through 14 games.
Is this a good move for the Leafs? Have your say in our forum.
Colaiacovo, Steen dealt to Blues
Last night, he is 15 feet from Mark Bell, he needs to make a simple pass to Bell to head-man the puck. What does the clown do? He rips the pass six feet in the air & nails poor Bell in the neck. It was funny...except for the fact that Bell could have been killed.
How can anyone in their right mind, cheer for this team as long as McCabe and Tucker are on the Leafs' roster.
Somebody please tell Curly that we found Larry & Moe.

I have read alot of the threads in here from Leaf fans and its like they are finally fed up and want this team rebuilt.
They are going to miss out on Stamkos but next year there is Traverse so hopefully Fletcher will gut this team in the summer and have a lottery pick next year.

But this is it. You can post your idiotic insults until Hell freezes over. I won't respond to any more, and I seriously suggest to all others who don't mind a good argument and differences of opinion to follow suit - i.e., simply ignore you.
I don't suppose you know who John Updike is, but he must have had you in mind when he wrote "A healthy male adult bore consumes each each year one and a half times his own weight in other people's patience."
From that I extrapolate that you must weigh in at around 300 lbs - and are probably 5' 4"

What some of use ARE dumping on was the ridiculous contract handed to him by JFJ which makes him virtually untradeable. He has 4 years to go at $4.5, 4.5 3 and 3 million ($15,000,000 total) and he'll be 38 at the end of it.
Are you suggesting that that's the acceptable going rate for a guy with 15 goals, 35 assists, a -4 and with a 4.6 shooting %?
JFJ thought so and clearly got all excited over a 40-goal season and promptly overspent for a guy who scored 149 goals over 589 games since he first played with the Kings back in 1999.
