Colaiacovo had to get as far away from his mom's cooking as possible. He simply can't push away from the table. He should do better in St. Louis which as far as I know isn't a hot spot of Italian cuisine. Steen just couldn't get going. But these 2 for one trades w/o a draft pick are dangerous. Still think Director of Pro Scouting Mike Penny has proven over and over he can't judge hockey talent. If his judgment is involved, it will be another bad deal.

well there they go again, trading good young talent. You think we would have learned from the past. Carlo will be a dominant all star defenceman and steen is probably one of the smartest young players in the game. If we are rebuilding why not wait for the talent to bloom. Lot at the past Brad Boyes would look good in a leafs uniform.Leafs also gave up on a guy named Jason Smith(looks alot like Carlo)who went on to be a great defenceman. Just can't believe it. The more that things change the more they stay the same!!!!!
