I have the right to rip or compliment anyone I choose to.
The people ripping Sundin the floater are the ones that can actually see how over rated he really is.
Only other player that I can think of that got as much hype for doing nothing would be Eric Lindross.
We pay there salaries and we can cheer or boo them as we see fit, thats our right as paying fans.
If you cant handle the truth about the most over rated leaf then stop reading our posts.

It is pretty easy to figure out Ken meant Voskala, was simply a typo to anyone witha brain except you I guess.

First of all, too many of you are numpties that just spew without checking anything first. Who the heck is Koskala, Ken? Mr Bill... there never has been a Malone playing for the Leafs.
Fletcher has lost it and agents are taking advantage of him. Hagman with a CAREER HIGH 27 goals and 41 points last year and a salary of $675,000, now gets $3Million a year. 485 career games, 165 career points and minus 22, yup just what the Leafs need.
"We look forward to him bringing his speed, grit and scoring touch to our lineup," Fletcher said.
And who the heck is this Finger guy???? He must be the second coming of Bobby Orr if he desrves a 700% raise after amassing 94 games in the NHL.
Fletcher said that Finger is a late-bloomer who made great strides last season.
So the Leafs had about $15 million cap space to play with and just spent $6.5 (averaged over 4 years) on Hagman's scoring touch and Finger, the late-bloomer?
Watch out Tavares...see what you're going to have to play with?

On one of the sports channels this morning I heard one GM was going to offer Finger a contract that would have paid him $ 1.2 million a year.
Another overpaid and over rated player for the centre of the universe.
Until that signing I thought Fletcher was doing a good job, this signing makes me wonder what he is doing.
I believe last year was his first year in the NHL. Unbelievable, they could have signed 2 players for that kind of money.

I haven't seen a good Leafs team since" Richie Knight and the Midnights" sang Charleana!!They should bring back Eddy Shack and enter into the Just for Laughs festival ....OLE !
Kelly Gallacher, 2008-07-02 09:51:23
Hey Probert, you know what's unbelieveable? How good he is. You guys should all stop ripping Sundin for doing what he felt was right and what a majority of Leafs fans thought was right. It was over 3 months ago. Get over it! You're the whiner buddy.
Let's see you go top 1300 points and stick with a team as long as you did. He's dealt with the pressure of being tradedfor Wendel Clark, and captaincy on his shoulders for years. No one has the right to complain about a talent this great until they can accomplish their feats as well. Sorry, no one on here. So everyone ripping him can shut it.

It appears that the Leafs are headed for another mediocre season based on what Fletcher has done so far. This oroganization is far from serious as far as building a contender.
Frank Kastle, 2008-07-02 09:22:53
I had to look up Finger to see who he was...Wasn't much info on him either.
No wonder Toronto is going no where.
Fletcher has done nothing worth while. But because Toronto had there best success under Cliff, they still think he's a god.
Ryan, 2008-07-02 09:06:22
The one good thing about the team we're putting together is that the light at the end of the tunnel is still achieveable: Last place = John Tavares!
Des, 2008-07-02 09:03:14
Same old Leafs give 14 Mil contract to a guy who has one good season, Hagman made $675 000 last year, now 3 million. His career stats are comparable to Leafs third line players, so what do they decide to do? Give him first line salary, Beautiful.
