Again with the hidden identities. The comments below from Pete are not mine (Disgrutledfan aka Pete). They are from the Pete whom I assume to be Jimmy the American Idiot. That being said, he's not that far off, STCollisse does not appear to know butkiss about hockey. Come to think of it most of the people who comment on this site do nothing more than state the obvious. I have done nothing but make prediction after prediction that have come to fruition. Do I hear anything from Wayne or Disgruntled Fan or St St Bernard or Jimmy or George Know it all O'Leary, nope. They only get upset and sling mud when they are proven wrong time after time after time. Now who's the hypocrite, come now, you know you are.

Sure I question some of Cliff Fletcher's moves. But, he's in charge and has a lot more experience at his job than any one of us.

I'd like to hold onto and get more picks, but I have a lot of confidence in what Fletcher is doing.

We need to fill out our roster somehow. You can't just put a bunch of AHL players out there.

Question for Gordholio. Why give up a 5th and a 2nd round draft pick on a guy who scored 3 goals and was a 5th round pick himself. The Laffs' 2008 5th round pick was a good young hockey player and who knows what next years 2nd round pick will be. For sure it will be a pick somewhere around 30 - 35. Wouldn't it make sense to try and rebuild with good young hockey players and save those draft picks? The guy the Laffs got is small and is built along the lines of Wellwood who by the way had more goals last year. The Laffs aren't going to contend for anything this year with or without Mikhael so the sensible approach would be to guard the draft picks with your life. Sign me

Amazing how people here think they know more about hockey than Cliff Fletcher.

Finger was pursued by 13 other teams. You don't know who he is, but Fletcher and the Leafs' scouts do their homework and know about him.

Perhaps he was overpaid, but he's a pretty good stay-at-home defenceman and now the team can try to rid themselves of Bryan McCabe and the old clubhouse mentality.
