2012 GAMES

Are you happy with the Sens' offseason moves?
Thu, August 28, 2008

The Sens are a team that went to the Stanley Cup final two years ago before suffering a disappointing season in 2007-08.

They have a new coach and now no more Ray Emery.

Can the Senators turn it around and make a fresh start next season? Have your say in our forum.

Bells's hit was a clean hit with his shoulder. Unlike the recent ones from Chris Neil. His were elbows to the head and Sens fans thought that was OK. I am a Toronto fan, always have been, always will be. My team is out, your team will be to, very soon.

For all you Maple Laugh Fans

Sens are in Leafs are out, i dislike both teams but bottom line the sens still have a chance, a very slim one but they do have a chance, for all the leaf fans ....just a quick note the leafs never had a chance and for the next 3 years will not make the playoffs, Cliff Fletcher is no savior, he'll keep McCabe and Tucker, and next year at this time we'll be on about the leafs missing the post season again....For all Leaf Nation line up for your NFL tickets!!!

8-2. Enough said. Enjoy the golf season.

You can debate whether or not the hit to Alfredsson was dirty or not (as a Sens fan I'm obviously biased…Bell’s elbow knocked Alfie’s helmet clear off of his head), but the reaction by the Toronto fans was disgraceful.

Cheering when a player is obviously hurt is disgusting, and then booing when he gets up... the Toronto goon squad wasn't only on the ice... they were also in the stands.

Yes the Sens will make the playoffs!!! The hit by Mark Bell was clean although like Neils hit on Drury, on the edge. I would be the first person standing and cheering if Tucker got smoked but if he was hurt and on the ice I know myself or the Ottawa fans would not be standing and cheering as a good portion of the Toronto fans were last night. I know we are not the loudest fans but we are true fans of the Sens and the game but to cheer when a player is hurt is just classless and rather sad. Boston to-nite!!!! GO SENS GO

Oh ya Enjoy your summer Mark

Murray said Fisher has a knee injury while Alfredsson has head and knee injuries. Murray said both injuries were "significant" and maintained a hit by Mark Bell in the first period was dirty.

Toronto leaf fans have no class. CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE and PETER included. The reason Ottawa is (and their fans) are a better team then you is we have class. We don't take Players "out" just because we can't make the playoffs so we'll try to take other team with us. you're all a bunch of thugs. you cheer when a player is hurt on the ice? what kind of a goof does that? clearly someone who doesn't hold any values for life or the sport. You guys must live in Scarborough...LOL. Oh and by the way...at least we made it to the stanley cup last year since only being in the league the last 15 years. you have been there since most of the people on here were even born...how said is that? the LAFFS alright. Darcy is a farce. the whinniest maggot on the team and the league.

It doesn't bother me at all that the Senators might make the playoffs. They are not a threat to win a stanley cup this year or any time in the near future. They have proven every year for the past 10 years that they are the BIGGEST CHOKE TEAM when it comes to the playoffs. So all you Senator fans can get the golf clubs and join your team on the course because as usual that's where your team will be.
Rod Davidson, 2008-04-04 10:47:03

and you guys thought Quinn was a whiner?.... have you ever seen a guy(Murray) whine at the refs like he did after every hit on the Sens?... then you guys beaking off like Heatly (I'll slap Toskala with my stick) and then not back up his actions like the whimp he is. ...and wow they send the goon squad out to beat up John Pohl, now theres a tough guy .... oh WAIT!!! weren't the Sens being compared to the Great Habs team that lost only 8 games??...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH even a Leaf fan can see that the Sens are by no means anywhere close to that team .. you got alot of balls to even put yourself in the same sentence as that team.

You tell us Leaf fans to wake up , well I think its time the Sens fans did a little waking of their own ...from being the self proclaimed super power that they think they were to maybe , just maybe missing the playoffs? I can understand Buffalo not making it losing the players they did but the ALMIGHTY SENS who lost no one??? greatness is only what you make it and the Sens don't have the grit , gumption, balls or whatever you want to call it to do anything. I can't wait to hear all their excuses if they don't make the playoffs.

a humble Leaf fan

Ham and Kevin your sens might have saved themselves and snuck into one of the last 3 playoff spots, but looks like you will be without that wuss alfie who can't even take a clean hit without getting injured. As bad as the leafs are, even they would have a hard time wasting away a 15-2 start to having to beat on a lottery bound team to barely make the playoffs. unlike the leafs, who are bad because of ownership and management - ottawa dont have that excuse, they have a good owner with good management, their players just have NO HEART. so don't give us this lecture about how the sens are so much better --- bring in fans of real winners like the penguins or red wings in this forum, and then i will listen

oh yeah, the Hens managed to win a game! :-) wow, that makes them Stanly Cup champions. Whining Murray was at it again after the hit on Crusty. :-) the Hens did not make it to the play-offs, yet. there is still hope they will loose tonight. all you idiot hens fans can crawl back into your holes after they will be eliminated saturday or after the first round.
