The Sens are a team that went to the Stanley Cup final two years ago before suffering a disappointing season in 2007-08.
They have a new coach and now no more Ray Emery.
Can the Senators turn it around and make a fresh start next season? Have your say in our forum.
Having said that, I'm not even sure what your point is. I know both were beaten out in the 1st round. All I said was, the Senators got a few days head start on their golf game over the Ducks in that they lost 4 straight while the Ducks extended their series a bit.
In every other DB I've visited there seems to be a resident S*^t-disturber whose only submissions appear to be designed to stir the pot. Are you this version's pain-in-the-ass?

I really dont have a favourite team, I follow all the Canadian teams. I prefer watching the late game on Saturday night when the Flames, Oilers or Canucks play.
Does this help you with some ammo you want against me ? lol.
One thing for sure, I will do anything to avoid having to watch the Laffs play regardless of who it is.

The Canucks need goal scoring and Spezza is a play maker. Time will tell I guess.

pete's team didnt make the playoffs, he is an Oilers fan. that explains so much about him lol.
they were out golfing well at the indoor driving range at the same time the laffs were on the golf course lol.

Heatley cant score if Spezza cant give him the puck in the scoring areas.
Put Spezza on the block and get a center that will take a hit to make a play. Keep Heatley, he is a 50 goal scorer and they are hard to come by. Try and trade Emery and if they cant try putting him on waivers before buying him out. maybe at $ 2 million the Kings might bite.
Redden wont be resigned, so there is $ 6 million they can spend on a puck moving defenceman. They need a proven leader, Adam Foote would be a good choice, he doesnt have a problem calling his teammates out and I think he is a free agaent this summer.
The Sens can still be a good team next year and compete for the division if they make the right moves.
Getting rid of Emery has to be the first move.
