Roberto Luongo went off following the Canucks' loss to Colorado last week, breaking the unwritten code with spoken words. He was frustrated, and he articulated that frustration, implicating unnamed teammates in the process.
Publicly, they said all the right things. Willie Mitchell made it very clear that he didn't take anything Luongo said personally, and he was one of the players on the ice when Joe Sakic scored the tying goal, in a game Vancouver ultimately lost in a shootout.
Currently, the team is in the midst of fighting for a playoff spot in the tough Western Conference. So, what's plaguing the Canucks the last few weeks? Have your say in our forum.
What i was saying, steven, you cant make a move that will make them a contender with out tradeing someone huge to play for them, they cant trade anybody but, Naslund, Sedin twins, or Luongo, but they wont trade Luongo, so what do they do, trade the Sedin twins and Naslund, or the cupless team can wait another four or five years. Understand it steven.

yet another example of RJ's total ignorance. Trade the Sedin twins.... the heart and soul of the team? Why do you always insist on commenting about subjects you are not knowledgeable about? The Canucks have a good nucleus but have to add some pieces.

Lack of D, Sedin twins, Naslund, everything but goaltending. They are not contending for the cup so they're rebuilding, trade Naslud, Sedin twins, then the could win in four or five years.
