The Senators are saying goodbye to goaltender Ray Emery.
In the wake of several incidents involving both the team and member of the public over the past couple of seasons, Emery has been served with a buyout notice by the club and has been placed on NHL waivers.

Obviously. It should have been done at least two weeks ago. But if those two stiffs in goal continue to give up the soft ones it won't much matter. If Murray had the gonads (and Melnyk was willing to spend) they should buy out both right now and bring Fast Eddie back from Sweden (if that's still possible after the trade deadline), and bring up one of the kids from Bingo as back-up. Because, they are going nowhere with those two.
