Emery's performance had nothing to do with the sens poor performance, this team is just not that good a team, 2 players Alfredson and Heatley are the only things this team has going for them and Heatley is not a day in and day out performer. Lets face it their just not that good a team

great interview on Off the Record. He was honest and open about what he did wrong and admitted he made mistakes, didn't play well. Now all u critics can shut up and stop the lies that Emery was a cancer and cost the sens the cup this year. Tons of other goalies stirred up crap far worse that Ray and never got the public backlash he did. Examples: why is Ed Belfour loved by fans and media even though he partied and started fights with his own team mates (usually the backup goalie?) Why was Ron Hextall not slagged in the papers for his temper and on-ice fights? What about Mark Fitzpatrick who was arrested for beating his wife? Tom Barasso for refusing to speak to the media and cursing the few times he did? Patrick Roy for sending his kid into a fight? Any of these guys get called a team cancer? No! Emery is the only one. WHY? Because Emery has (and is) one thing that all those other players are not, and that is why he got picked on. Good luck in Russia Ray, and hope you get treated more equally than you did here.
