The Ottawa Senators have shaken things up.
Ottawa acquired forward Cory Stillman and defenceman Mike Commodore from the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday for forward Patrick Eaves and defenceman Joe Corvo.
The Senators lead the Eastern Conference and have made very few changes from the team that lost to Anaheim in last year's Stanley Cup.
Does this deal address problems in the Senators lineup? Are the Sens a better team following the four-player trade? Have your say in our forum.
Sens pull off a big deal
And while you're at it, get off the McGrattan-Neil thing - you've made your point - now only time will tell. You sound like a broken record by latching onto one subject and beating it to death.
And to think, looking back, I first regarded you as something of a wit. Now, alas, I realize I was only half-right.

The Sens are far too talented to play this embarrassingly bad. If Paddock can't get it done with these guys, he needs to be gone before the season is lost.

Just curious as to why you think Redden will be going to Edmonton. The only problem with Edmontons D is inexperience(asides from Souray). Asides from that, they are have some pretty talented young D-men in Gilbert, Roy, Grebeshkov and Roarke(currently in the minors). Just wondering why you think they would sully an up and coming core with an underperformer like Redden.

Does he not realize that Leaf Nation is sick of him? Does he not realize that he is considered one of Ferguson's biggest mistakes?
12 goals...half of them bounced in off of his butt. yikes what a stiff.
Ahhh the ego of someone who is a legend in his own mind.

I'm not suggesting they should go back to the smothering type of D employed by Martin, but there has to be more attention paid to helping out the D than has been the case to date.
