Are the Sens better with Stillman and Commodore? Mon, February 11, 2008
The Ottawa Senators have shaken things up.
Ottawa acquired forward Cory Stillman and defenceman Mike Commodore from the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday for forward Patrick Eaves and defenceman Joe Corvo.
The Senators lead the Eastern Conference and have made very few changes from the team that lost to Anaheim in last year's Stanley Cup.
Does this deal address problems in the Senators lineup? Are the Sens a better team following the four-player trade? Have your say in our forum.

Pete, you remind me of a bitter little twerp who struts around thumping his chest after having been proven to be correct on one point out of ten. I already said you were the great Wazoo (incidentally, where you can also stick your supercilious approach to every point you try to make) when it came to Cement Head over Cement Hands. What do you want? A medal or the chest to pin it on?

Roland, Popsicle Pete and George. bite me. George how is your man McGrattan doing. It's been three weeks and he has next to what zero points since Neil went out.

Peter: Alfredsson has played the point on the PP for several years, it's not something new under Paddock. Look elsewhere for solutions. Alfie was also on the point when Ottawa had the NHL's #1 PP a few years ago.

have anybody noticed how Alfredsson palyes on the point on the poweer-play? why is that? he's most effective down low and they got burned a few times by opponents going by him. maybe the coach should think about this, it might change the power-play statistics...

George and Pete..... enough already. Get each other's e-mail addresses and keep this BS to yourselves. Pete is nothing but a troll anyways.... George you should just ignore him.

Raises hand for Roland. You're absolutely right. No more from this end when it comes to Pete.

TSN has Milbury & Ferguson as " experts". Probably the worst GMs in recent memory.
Ferguson has the gall to say that he has no regrets about his many bonehead moves as the Leafs GM.
It takes a big man to publicly admit his mistakes. Just like Brian Mulroney, the only thing big about John Ferguson Jr, is his head.

OK everyone, with a show of hands, how many of you are tired of the petty bickering between George and Pete? Guys; if you have a contribution to make in a discussion of the topic presented, please make it or go away.

You call that "conversing?" I make what I believed to be a valid observation which you disagree with, No problem there. It's when you resort to "ignoramus" and "jackass" (that's the proper spelling by the way) that the dialogue loses all credibility.
I should have heeded the advice of John O'Donnell who once wrote "you shouldn't be lured into controversy by clumsy amateur insulters . . ."
You may now have the last word Pete - I know you can't resist it - but from here on I'm ignoring anything that spews out your vile yap as, I'm sure, several others who engage in this forum are already doing.
Shakespeare must have had your type in mind when he wrote, in Macbeth, "It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

George, "get off the McGrattan-Neil thing". That's the reason we are even conversing. Because of your asinine statement. Now to say get off it. So what are we talking about here, my spelling? You are right about one thing, only time will tell. I'm sure you will be right once again, not.
