Can anything stop the Patriots?
Sun, January 20, 2008

Despite a shaky Tom Brady, the New England Patriots were still too much for the banged-up San Diego Chargers in the AFC championship game Sunday, pulling out a 21-12 victory to head to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in seven seasons.

After 18 straight victories in a single season, can anything stop the Patriots now?

I'm pleased to see my estimation of your intelligence was correct. The quote you put up was from an entirely different thread that was about HOCKEY and not football, and furthermore, only the last part of that quote was incorrect(which btw I owned up to). Congratulations on your pigeon-holing of all westerners as narrow-minded. I wonder if all easterners feel the same way as a stereotyping half-wit like yourself..I prefer to think that most don't, and that you are just a lone tool bleating your frustration into your computer. Of course, Im probably a lot more reasonable than you are. You still haven't shown me an actual fact you quoted, besides the one I was mistaken in, because you never had an actual fact. Merely a mistaken belief that you actually have knowledge about anything. For the record, on Nov.11 I was sitting in front of my TV....watching Remembrance Day ceremonies with my kids as anyone with a whit of respect should be doing. But hey, why pay respects ONE DAY out of the year to the men who died for our freedom when you could be watching a football game eh? Believe it or not, I don't dislike you at all, but I sure do pity you because you seem to have little respect, and even less intelligence. My condolences to you little man.

Norbit, I quote you "He guided one franchise to a dynasty and another to their first Cup in fifty years." You know less about football than you do hockey. Think outside the box a little, you shouldn't be so narrow minded. Then again you are from the west. The only facts I have stated where the ones used to correct your errors, example in quotes above. You are correct you are not Jimmy the American Idiot. You are in fact Norbit the idiot from the West. Later dude, by the way I spend most of my weekends at the rink. Remember me next year when the Giants don't even make the playoffs. For the record Sunday, November 11th, where were you, in front of the TV, I drove with friends for seven hours to go to East Rutherford, New Jersey and watch Dallas take care of the Giants. You? Rodeo Clown!

Now I may have been wrong in my prediction(which I admitted), but tell me something: exactly what facts did you point out in your posts? asides from "the Patriots ALMOST got beat". just admit it, you predicted a long shot and got lucky and now are gloating about what a guru you are. If you read both our posts carefully, I actually put down far more facts than you did. I don't know who Jimmy the American Idiot is, but he surely can't be as stupid or pathetic as you. Good luck with future predictions, I predict you spend most weekends alone in front of your computer.

Norbit, talk about gracious. you should work for the Hilary, she could use a good spin doctor. Isn't it interesting how you where the almighty in your face know it all when they where winning. No one accused you of being a patriot fan. However, what I did state is you don't have your facts when you comment on this forum and that you are no better than Jimmy the American Idiot. Good luck with future predictions, I predict that the Giants wont make the playoffs next year.

Congratulations. You were right and I admit it. Good job on being so gracious about being right. You sure are a class act. Way to go you big king of the canoe superbowl prediction forum. I am actually pleased to be wrong because, as I mentioned before, I despise the Pats since they took out my Rams in their first Superbowl victory. Eli has arrived, and next year should be interesting.
Norbit, 2008-02-05 19:05:18

Hey...pride comes before the fall..that's what happened to The Patriots...the once humbled NY Giants became the victors!!
ElvisWoman, 2008-02-04 13:34:25

Norbit, Oh Norbit where are you. I hate to say I told you so but I did. They are beatable they got beat and they are not perfect. You sir know as much about football as Jimmy the American Idiot does about hockey. IN YOUR FACE.
Pete, 2008-02-04 10:27:14

Some cliches fit the situation. If Brady is his usual self, the Patriots should win by at least 10 points in my opinion.

If he has a bad game, the Giants could win.

By the way, I lived in Ottawa during my college co-op work terms in the late Eighties. I liked it there, but lots of snow.

I always admired and liked the 1972 Dolphins and Coach Don Shula. Lately however, they have been classless in their reaction to the Patriots’ probability to win the Super Bowl and go 19 and O. We are all very sick and tired of watching and listening to the 1972 Dolphin players about how great they ARE. These guys keep on bragging endlessly with no display of any class whatsoever.

The NY GIANTS should do us all a big favour and lay an egg in the Super Bowl Game this coming Sunday.

The FISH STINK! Throw them back!
