Chris Simon has received the longest suspension in NHL history - again.
The New York Islanders forward was banned 30 games by league disciplinarian Colin Campbell after Simon stepped on Pittsburgh's Jarkko Ruutu during a game over the weekend.
What do you think should happen to him? Have your say in our forum.
Simon banned for 30 games
They have to stand up and correct this NOW.

To say he is the first and only one to "step/stomp" on someone with their skates..is pure baloney.
None other than the great Bobby Orr while a junior did it in the old IcePalace
in London against the Knights..
so please give me a break.Of course, Bobby Orr's talent was miles above Simon's and I am sure he was told to straigten his act..
Gordie Howe had the most educated elbows in the NHL that dented a few heads before any ruling against head shots..but again..who can compare the talent..
So,depending on how great a super star will determine what you get..
It has to do with money..
If your stars are not playing you do not have the gate proceeds..
And don't let them tell you this is sport it is business!!!

I have yet to hear anything about how they are protecting the players from getting clubbed, stabbed and run from behind.
