Does Ramage deserve a prison sentence? Thu, January 17, 2008
Former NHL player Rob Ramage was called an "exemplary citizen" Thursday, but an Ontario judge said he had to send a message of deterrence against drunk driving as he sent him to prison for four years for a crash that killed his friend, a former Chicago Blackhawks player.
Do you think Ramage got what he deserved? Have your say in our forum.
How many handles do you have. The fact you have more than one leads me to believe you don't have the copy write to any of them. At least Jimmy is a consistent idiot. Stick to talking trash, cause you no nothing about the law. Wait a minute is this Jimmy?

First of all...someone else must have liked the handle that I used in a couple of other posts and decided to steal it for themselves.
YOU LOSER!!!!
Secondly, if celebrities were to receive the same penalties as normal people do, this question wouldn't have even been posted.
If the judge wanted to really send a message of deterrence against drunk driving, he would have slapped him with an involuntary manslaughter charge instead.

It doesnt take much to have grounds of appeal. Whether it is granted is another story. He still did it, just won't accept any responsibility.

I'm merely saying Wayne ,that there might be grounds for an appeal . I realize he was convicted on the charges. If the Cops did not do their jobs properly and the Judge let that evidence in to court incorrectly and if the Judge treated Ramage differently ,there would be grounds for an appeal .As for Pete, you seem to have a problem with the laws of the land. Isn't that the point that lawyers use the laws to keep their clients out of prison or maybe you want to go back to the witch hunt days. You seem to be a little obsessed with jimmy, might want to seek some medical attention.

sorry Voice of reason, don't prisoners get axxess to computers?
wayne, 2008-01-25 13:12:57
Please we will all agree to protest for Ramage to stay out of prison, if Jimmy the American Idiot agrees to take his place. Wow, would that be nice not to have to read his crap every day.
Voice of Reason, 2008-01-25 13:01:29
Wayne, stop wasting your time. Mike must be a pen name for Jimmy. Mike aka Jimmy, are you sure you were not on the OJ Simpson Jury. Wake up, this is clearly a man fighting to stay out jail with a high powered legal team. Bring back any memories.
Pete, 2008-01-24 12:56:36
Jimmy, your giving advice to someone to ignore someone. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, or pink in your case. To make it even worse again you are talking about laws. Given your track record with the aforementioned...Mike, Don't waste your time on Jimmy.
