Are MLB players telling the truth?
Wed, February 13, 2008

Brian McNamee said he injected Roger Clemens with performance-enhancing drugs more often than he previously claimed, starting their high-stakes testimony before U.S. Congress on Wednesday with new attacks on the credibility of the seven-time Cy Young Award winner.

"I have helped taint our national pastime," McNamee, the pitcher's former personal trainer, said in his prepared statement, released before the start of the highly anticipated hearing.

Clemens has denied the accusations that became public in December's Mitchell Report.

Do you believe Clemens and other players when they say they did not inject themselves with performance-enhancing drugs? Have your say in our forum.

Sure they're all telling the truth. Honest. By the way, the moon is made of green cheese.

No and why should they it wasn't illegal. It all comes down to dollars and senses. Many of them have no sense as they are willing to do almost anything to get the big contract and hence the dollars that come with it. How come all those with the anger management problems and bizzar personalities are the same that have been on the CLEAR. Conseco, Bonds, Clemens etc. etc. Oh and Jimmy the flyers fan, he must be on it with the erratic behavior and vale threats.

No, why would they? Fehr and Selig lied and so did the ownwers. If not to the senate then to themselves. All these people live in denial and one day hockey will end up the same way because they have not dealt with it as it should have been.

This will continue because there is nothing to lose but credibility and that doesn't cash at the bank. Only money matters and drawing crowds to the venues. The home run races drew huge attention and put people in the seats and glued them to TV's. Money rules cheaters are dealt with later. lol Don't let them in the HOF that will teach them! Sad part is I believe the press knew this was happening too and did nothing. Record makers sold a lot of media time.

Of course they arent. They will do anything for a chance at the hall of fame and the multi million dollar contracts even at the risk of their health down the road.

That phone call Clemens had with McNamee was a joke. Also Clemens wont take a lie detector test either.
Jimmy, 2008-01-09 23:59:26

Well, somebody's lying. Whoever it is better come clean, because eventually, we'll all find out anyway.

two things that are always going to hold true, professional atheletes will always do what thy can to get theedge, they have that win at all costs attitude that makes them pro's.... so of course Clemens took roids, and number 2 the leafs suck and they always will!!!!!

A chiropractor 'backing' him doesn't mean a lot to me. Every chiropractor I have ever met has loved drugs.

With Karen's standard of measuring guilt she would have no problem fitting in during the Inquisitions.
Ray, 2008-01-09 16:13:18

So the innocent say nothing?

what kind of logic is that?
