Ya I always miss the good ones. I lose a lot of interest when I know the result too (guess I'm too picky)

I think some of the card girls do it for free. LOL Wayne have you seen the Forest Griffen / Sephan Bonnar fight (first one)? That was a good fight. If you get a chance to watch it you should. I believe it should be on a video a person could rent at the video store. They were the finalists of the first or second seasion of the Ultimate fighter Reality show that airs on Spike. There is some hugging near the end but I think thats cause they needed each other to stand.

Hey I still watch occasionally, its just far less frequent. I hope to see a good fight, in all sports and occasionally do. But it seems more often than not I see boring ones. My freinds love ultamite fighting. Some times teh card girls in UFC look like they gave $50 bucks to some girl in attendance.

Wayne it really depends on the fighters and if its UFC, Bodog, or whatever the countless other cards there is out there. I have the fight network and it's mostly a waste. These guys and in some cases gals are mostly up and comers. The best on the fight network is the honey wrestling and that weird oriental one where they get naked (can't remember what its called). I accually get the UFC PPV every month and for the most part they are pritty good. It does seem that when they pair up two guys with good ground game its pritty boring. Both guys tie each other up then are too afraid to move caus ethe other is going to submitt them. Maybe we agree more on this topic than I thought.

dwain i do agree with people too.

I can't remember. I frequently channel surf. Maybe i have just lost interest too, i don't know.

The ultimate fights always seem to be two guys holding each other for the entire round. They break up at a bell, try to throw a punch and grab each other again and wrestle. Watched for two minutes once as two guys struggled to get one arm free for an open handed slap to the face. They were two strong scary men and if one broke free it would get messy, but both know that and fight to stop it. Boring.

Wayne I think there is something writen in the heavens that says we will never agree. LOL I belive you see the MMA fights that were boring. As with boxing not all is exciting. What wheight class where you watching? I find the little guys are way more interesting (150 lbs) the heavy weights (250+ lbs) is slow with lots of hugging. I do however prefer MMA over boxing, but I will watch eather or.

To Theneilman:No,I don't sniff the paint, but I CAN knock you on your can ANYTIME,ANYPLACE and you can take that to the bank!!

I used to love boxing but rule changes have made it boring. Paid good bucks for the last De lahoya fight and got board to death watching no hitting.

Watched the ultamite fighting a few times and got board to death watching two guys hug for 20 minutes.

MMA is the best thing going right now - it's an explosive, technical showcase of athleticism. Boxing is way too one-dimensional to keep up.

To grosso:

1. MMA is hardly "redneck." Fighters use Thai kickboxing, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Greco-Roman wrestling and other fighting disciplines - hardly a bunch of slack-jawed yokels smacking one another around.

2. To date there have been two deaths in MMA (one from a regulated fight and one from an unregulated fight in the Ukraine). In the almost 20 years it's been a recognized sport, there have been over 100 deaths in regulated and unregulated boxing matches: http://ejmas.com/jcs/jcsart_svinth_b_0700.htm

To Michael Abriola:

Do you you also sniff the paint as you're watching it dry?
theneilman, 2007-12-08 14:09:55

I couldn't care LESS about UFC,Boxing and you can lump WWE Wrestling in there also.My time spent watching paint dry is more productive!
