Should the Sens be worried? Thu, November 29, 2007
How low are things for the reeling Ottawa Senators? They are mired in their longest losing streak since dropping five in a row (0-4-1) in late October and early November last season.
So, what's wrong with the Senators? Is it their forward lines? Goaltending? Defence? Bad luck?
Bet the Leafs wish they were in the same so called slump as the Sens. They will go deep again this year,no doubt about it.

You poor deluded Sens fans. This is another Canadian team that gets phantom calls from the referees. Start getting too big for the Bettman NHL and NOT be a Y'all team...fuggeddabowtit...Just check the finals last year. Besides every Sens fan over the age of 15 is a traitor anyway. You don't change allegiance if you are a true fan! Me EVER cheer for the Sens??? Not before an honest politician gets elected as PM!

It's Thursday night and they've just lost there sixth game in the last seven. This stretch started with a 3-0 loss to the Leafs. The Sens have too much offensive power and solid defence to be worried. They should finish high in their conference again this year - but they have a potential problem in goal. That will be a problem in the playoffs if not addressed.

There is nothing wrong with them. You win some you loose some.

I am very concerned. Paddock can't coach, the top line has no heart, the goalies are beginning to show their true form and all the other teams now know how to shut down the top line.

The Leafs would kill for this problem!!!!!!!!!

No I am not worried at the Sens play of late. Its a mini slump, they will be fine. Too much talent on this team for any concerns. Its a long season cant win every game no matter how good your team is, bounces will go against you every so often.

I'm not concerned, the Sens will bounce back and battled through it. I thought last night they showed tremendous patience, despite being down by a goal on two separate occasions, they didn't quit and worked through the boring Isles defence and forced a shootout and probably deserved to win. I imagine they'll take it tonight against the Preds.

not at all every team slumps at some point and time in the season......It's good they injury bug has hit them now.... besides it could be worse they could be wearing a maple leaf on their jersey
