Can the Oilers make the post-season?
Mon, March 31, 2008

Can exuberance make up for inexperience? Can momentum make it possible to scoff at long odds?

The Edmonton Oilers insist the answer is yes. And now that they've climbed to within three points of a Western Conference playoff berth with 12 wins in their last 15 games, who's to say they're wrong?

Can the Oilers make the post-season? Have your say in our forum.

I always admit when Im wrong and I was wrong. Kudos to your Red Wings nighttrain, they deserved it. and Zetterberg deserved the Conn Smythe, he was a machine offensively and defensively. See you next year.

CHOKE!!!! I think not my friend. Detroit all the way!

ok im willing to make a mends. I to will admit your oilers should do pretty good next season. Sorry to have gotten so combative with you but it is hockey. i also know how Dallas has screwed you guys in the playoffs over the years and it will be a pleasure to kick their ass for you.

Having watched the game between Detroit and Colorado last night, I have to give credit where credit is due: the Wings looked unstoppable. That goal by Zetterberg was ridiculous, maybe nicer than Nash's goal in the regular season.

Asides from our amusing little back and forth on here nighttrain, I am a proud Oilers fan, whether they make the playoffs or not. I still watch even when they dont make it, and like I said, I have to admit that Detroit looks just as good as you've been saying they are. Should be some great hockey between them and Dallas.

& your wrong. because when detroit wins it it will be swedens cup. Still waiting for that choke captain limp wrist.
nighttrain, 2008-05-02 00:10:50

yeah, ok norby that makes lots of sense. like i said playoff envy
nighttrain, 2008-05-01 23:55:07

lol, sure you've cheered for them for 20 years nighty...and the moon is made of green cheese and Columbus will win the Cup next year. Not that it matters because even if Detroit gets bumped you'll just change your sign-in name and claim to be a '20 year' fan of a different team lol. The Cup always stays in Canada buddy, because whomever wins it will have mostly Canadian players. lol, silly boy..
Norbit, 2008-05-01 19:16:06

By the wat nubby, once your habs get bumped who are you going to cheer for then? Because im sure you one of those people who say "well, as long as the cup stay's in canada".I know, Iknow wait till next year.lol...........putz
nighttrain, 2008-05-01 05:45:53

Like i said playoff envy. And ive cheered for this team for over 20yrs so you can keep your bandwagon comments for your oiler/flamer cheering.
