The test results show that Martina Hingis cheated. The saying is "The proof in the pudding is in the eating", therefore the proof that these athletes cheated is in the testing. The testing is quite sophisticated. The response by Hingis in her defense/explanation is not. Unfortunately for the cheaters, the drug testing labs that are used by the sports authorities are becoming as sophisticated as the labs that these cheaters get their illegal drugs from (look up BALCO). Ben Johnson was one of the first to get caught cheating and he denied using steroids vehemently at the time. He fessed up when all the evidence was in. All the other cheaters that followed him used the same M.O. as Ben Johnson did and were all eventually proven found guilty.

The cheaters’ first response always seems to be DENY, DENY, DENY! They lie to no end. They will never learn. "Go away Martina, get lost!"

We should all feel badly for all those athletes that played fairly, and cleanly. They are the ones who lost out on the money.

In todays world,nobody is guilty of anything.Not Landis,not Bonds,not Merriman,and now Hingas.Everyone is innocent,even if you're caught on tape commiting a felony,it's somebody else.I believe her as much as I do the others....not at all!And I actually used to pull for her from her teenage years through till this.
