Martina Hingis is retiring from professional tennis after denying that she used cocaine.
Hingis, a five-time Grand Slam champion, said Thursday she has been accused of testing positive for the drug at Wimbledon. "I find this accusation so horrendous, so monstrous that I've decided to confront it head on by talking to the press," she said. "I am frustrated and angry. I believe that I am absolutely 100 per cent innocent."

As an asside for drug testing in general. Apperently marion jones had 160 drug tests and not one came up positive. It was only her confession coerced by the fear of jail that gave her up.
Who cares if they do, they all probably do. We only watch and the entertainment is pretty good, drugs or not.

hingis did supply a hair sample for testing and it came back with no drugs in it. That is also a conclusive test. It does bring into question testing, when two valid tests contradict each other.

True coke isnt a performance enchancer but its illegal on the streets. Who knows how it affects an athlete.

That the drug is a recreational versus a performance enhancing drug is not the issue. The issue is that Hingis was playing the game in an altered state. Do I beleive her, absolutely not. These people beleive their own hype and live in denial. They can easily lie straight faced to a camera (kinda like Lyin'Brian about AirBus). How dare we little people challenge their importance.
Mind you she's a hottie, maybe she should pose Playboy and start a career in that direction, they don't mind if they enhance themselves.
