Where should A-Rod play next? Wed, November 14, 2007
In a decision that likely ends four tumultuous and unfulfilling seasons with the New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez decided to opt out of the final three seasons of his contract.
New York, which failed to make the World Series in all of Rodriguez's seasons, has said it would not attempt to re-sign A-Rod if he opted out.
Which begs the question: Where will A-Rod play next? Does the World Series champion Boston Red Sox pursue the all-star slugger, or will another team make a play for his services? Have your say in our forum.
Any team wanting to win the world series should NOT bid for his services

Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox or an outside chance - Detroit Tigers.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice if no one made a bid on him. If you ever wonder why fewer people are watching the game of baseball read the reason's why A-Rod left the Yankees. He felt they were not going to be competitive this year. Sounds like Robbie Alomar from a few years back...

He would look great in a Blue Jays uniform, although Rogers is to cheap and wouldn't see the vision of having the best player in Baseball play in Toronto plus Alex would probably not want to come here with the likes of Riccardi as GM and a lame manager.
