Is Sundin the best Bud ever? Thu, October 11, 2007
Mats Sundin was credited with an assist that gave him a club-record 917 points Thursday night, but television replays did not show him touching the puck on the scoring play.
The announced crowd of 19,319 gave Toronto's captain a standing ovation.
Will Toronto fans remember Mats Sundin as the greatest Leaf of all time? Have your say in our forum.
Matts has had a great run with the Leafs and is a great and humble ambassador for the franchise- but you cannot give him the win over the shorter and more intense and rugged career of Darryl- he was the most well-rounded of Leafs captains yet

Sad to say, yes he's the best player or at least consistent.
But that tells more about how poorly Leafs has been run over the years. Kudos to Mats, a great athlete and a nice person off ice.....make no mistake he's all class but Leafs continues to suck every year. That's said, I am a huge Leafs fan.
