Can the Raptors improve this season? Mon, October 29, 2007
The Toronto Raptors were one of the success stories of the NBA last season, capturing their first ever Atlantic Division title with a 47-35 record.
With the majority of their roster intact, expectations will be lofty heading into this season.
With training camp underway and the start of the regular season a month away, what are your thoughts on the Raptors chances for playoff success this season? Can they improve on their record from a year ago? Have your say in our forum.

Toronto will be hard pressed to finish with the same or a better record than last year.
You can bet that Boston and Philadelphia will be much better.

No, I don't see them winning any more than 45 games. But I do think they will go further in the playoffs

If the raptors remain healthy, I see 50+ wins. They are a good group. I also think they can defend the Atlantic, it will be tough with th improvement of Boston, but raptors can do it. Go Raptors!

The whole NBA got a boost from a great rookie class incming fir this season.
The Raptors WILL improve, but they have to, just to stay where they are!
Team work should be improved with time, and this is still a young team, with individual improvement expected each year!
I can't wait to see how they match up against the "new look" Celtics this weekend!!!

It will be difficult, but as the raps started so slow last year, if they get off to a good start, that's 5 wins right there.
They have more shooting this year with Kapono, and Barney should be better, as should TJ and Bosh. They will be a very dangerous and balanced offensive team.
If they can make any significant strides on defence (i.e getting Baston) they might win 50 games.
