Should Glaus be suspended if he used steroids? Fri, September 7, 2007
The same Florida-based pharmacy that allegedly prescribed a year's worth of Human Growth Hormone to St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Rick Ankiel, also prescribed steroids for Blue Jays third baseman Troy Glaus, according to a Sports Illustrated investigative report.
The SI report alleges Glaus, then with the Anaheim Angels, received multiple shipments of steroids through an internet distribution network over a seven-month period, from September 2003 until May 2004. The four-time All-Star received Nandrolone and testosterone, according to the report.
Where are the stories about other writers saying Buffal had veto power and were in the 50 mile radius ? All you did was copy and paste 2 writers names I believe LOL.

you were partly right that giambi wasn't suspended, I went off memory. They threatened it. But it wasn't about the online purchases, it was about an interview that he did admitting he took them before the ban after he denied it during the senate inquiry.

Not according to this 2005 USA Today article that states they do and it started in the 2007 season. But you are always right jimmy. I bow to your immense knowledge.
Your right Palmero wasn't the caught and suspended. "MLB rules call for a 50-game suspension for testing positive for steroids or other illegal performance-enhancing drugs" another USA today again.
"NEW YORK -- Reliever Guillermo Mota was suspended for 50 games Wednesday after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, becoming the third player penalized this year for violating Major League Baseball's toughened drug policy." this was from november 2006 on ESPN

wayne there isnt anything in the collective bargaining agreement between the players union and the owners that let the players be tested LOL. The union would go ape shit if any players were tested.
Palmero and Giambi werent tested or suspended LMAO. If you paid attention to the news Giambi was caught when a story leaked out that he had purchased steroids online like all the rest that have been singled out LOL. No drug tests caught him or any other players LMFAO.
Wake up and smell the coffee, you are wrong yet again LOL.

Baseball is testing players for steroids ? Thats news to me. What players have been suspended for using in MLB ?
Glen, 2007-09-18 17:33:48
good answer
Baseball is testing now and handing out suspensions too.
I find it amazing how few NFL players have been caught. I have a few freinds who played US college ball and in the CFL. Now its been 10 years since they played but they were told by their coaches at both levels to go on steroids and said everyone did it. Find it hard to beleive things have been cleaned up since seeing as the players are getting bigger and faster.

Yes there are steroids in the NFL, but Roger Goodall is handing out stiff penalties to anyone caught so thats why I am still a fan.
A 4 game suspension is pretty big for a first timer, its 1/4 of a season.
In baseball that would equall around 45 games or so. Too bad Goodall isnt running Major League Baseball he would clean it up.
