No big deal. Only a big deal in the media.

They are in the spotlight, so they need to be a bit more careful than your average Joe, but could I have found myself in the same predicament at that age? About a thousand times! Move on....

The Staal brothers were in bed asleep when the police came back the second time. The first visit from the police warned them about there loud noises etc and that is when they went to bed.

What law(s) did the Staal boys break by taking the advice of the police and turning in for the night ? None that I am aware of.

these guys rock. They have a party, calm down when the police tell them to, go to bed, and then get woken up in the middle of the night by the police. Only in the USA could this happen. Tell the authorities to worry about Vick and leave these good Canadian boys to their good times and clean fun.

If you didn't like them before (I'm not sure why you wouldn't) you have to love them now. A couple of great Canadian kids having some fun.

Their parents must be proud of such a great Canadian hockey success story, and they should be.

i played a lot of sports in my day and i am really sick and tired to know end of these high priced athletes and movie stars that think because of their status they are above the law...look at the ones that have got off with a handslap lateley..ive known people that have done a lot less and had the book thrown at them..stop giving these people special treatment and give them what the law states...

No. There is not one among you who has not had a wild time in their youth. Unfortunately, socially conservative countries like the US consider drinking underage to be a serious crime. Get off your friggin high horses, Yanks!

Come on the Staal brothers were having a good time. Had some pretty good times myself at their ages. Never even got a footnote in the newspaper. But as for the GOOD Hum American beer someone forgot to cross the border. Noway is my opinion of the Staal brothers changed. They are GREAT.

Of course! I will never watch hockey again and I'm so embarrassed to be a Canadian from Thunder Bay, I'm thinking of moving to Zimbabwe.

Of course, perhaps when the tri county police heard there was a penguin in a hurricane, they realized that the situation could quickly turn dire and they sprang into action.
