Have your say about Chris Benoit
Thu, September 13, 2007

Canadian Pro wrestler Chris Benoit suffered brain damage from his years in the ring that could help explain why he killed his wife, son and himself, a doctor who studied Benoit’s brain said Wednesday.

Steroid use also has lingered as a theory, since anabolic steroids were found in the home and tests conducted by authorities showed Benoit had roughly 10 times the normal level of testosterone in his system when he died.

Surprise...surprise! Remember pro-wrestlers are born with those bodies. Steriods? Never.

Boostg. Are you serious? This guy chose to do the drug to make money. He then strangled his wife and 7 year old son. If that doesn't make him a bad person, what does? 3 or more killings? Must be nice to think of the family asa sacrafice for the better good.

Chris Benoit was, is and will always be a legend in the sport regardless of what he did. Everything happens for a reason and quite frankly, i feel just as bad for a man who was pushed to this point of desperation as the other victims. Just because someone like Chris commited this horrific act does not change the fact that he is one of the best wrestlers that ever lived. It also does not make him a "bad person that should burn in hell" as some of you are saying. I know plenty of great people in this world that have done some pretty awful things at one point or another that i still respect. Think about all the people that he inspired, what he did was awful but when someone spends their life entertaining others and making them happy and then does something like this you have to weigh the positve against the negative. As many of you have said hopefully WWE will look into steroid use better than than have been. Maybe it was a wake up call. Sure, 3 people have died but maybe lives will be saved as a result

What an abuse of power the press has. I'm not condoning Benoits actions, but the report clearly states he had elevated levels of testosterone, and no anabolic steroids which is the bad kind.

Anyone notice that his wife had a blood-alcohol level of .184? They say it may have been from body decomposition, but maybe she was drunker than a skunk on the night of her demise and pushed Benoit over the edge, or attacked and he had to defend himself. Theories, sure, but something to think about.

A pro wrestler was found to have steroids in his system? I can't believe it!!! What a shock.

The headline said Wrestlers testosterone 10 times normal. Did you guys watch a different live report than the rest of us. They said it was elevated not 10 times. Plus no where did they say that roids caused it.

It's sad for the wife & kid but Benoit himself is a loser goof, hanging was to good for him.

I am not going to deny whether Chris Benoit killed his wife and son. I believe he most likely did.

But, I am going to try to take a look at this from the outside. Not as a fan but as id I were investigating the murder-suicide.

One thing I never got is how certain people knew certain things.

1.) On Raw the night that the bodies were found, Chavo Guerrero talked about how he talked to Chris the day before he died. Keep in mind, as of that day everyone thought that Chris died the Monday, which meant Chavo had to have talked to him on Sunday(when he was dead). That is unless, he knew Chris died on Sunday. Am I saying Chavo had anything to do with the deaths of the Benoit family (I do nto know where he was Friday night or Saturday to make that claim). No, I am not. But, he certainly knows something that others do not. He certainly knew more then.

2.) Nancy's death was posted from someone in Stamford, CT 13 hours prior. What are the odds that someone would ignorantly be able to post it on a "secure" site that soon without knowing.

3.) They say that Daniel Benoit was injected with growth hormones. The question is by who and how often? What are the details?

4.) If all of them were sedated by Xanax, is it possible that Chris did not kill his family? I believe he did but I also believe that this was decided before they investigated.

If Chris Benoit committed these acts, others certainly knew beforehand. It is a question of who. I do not know for sure if there is a cover-up. What I do know is something smells dirty and there is usually a rat somewhere when there is the dirty smell.

The latest article posted here says that steroids were found in his body. This is not true, and is deceptive. There were elevated testosterone levels found, but no substances that would normally be thought of an anabolic steroids.

How can you all be in such denial of the obvious.. there is no conspiracy just cold blooded murder from an roid freak!( and that has been proven with toxicology)
