Have your say about Chris Benoit
Thu, September 13, 2007

Canadian Pro wrestler Chris Benoit suffered brain damage from his years in the ring that could help explain why he killed his wife, son and himself, a doctor who studied Benoit’s brain said Wednesday.

Steroid use also has lingered as a theory, since anabolic steroids were found in the home and tests conducted by authorities showed Benoit had roughly 10 times the normal level of testosterone in his system when he died.

I dont know any " good " men that murder their wife and son. He was out of control due to steroids.

McMahon should be investigated for his involvement with the wrestlers using steroids to see whose idea it was for them to be using and if McMahon encouraged them to use or told them they had to if they wanted a shot at the title.

Either way McMahon is scum for putting wrestlers health and well being in jeopardy for his personal gains ( MONEY ).

I Believe Chris Benoit suffered from Rage induced agression caused by steriod abuse. The evidence supporting this is the fact that Mr.Benoit had 10 times(x) the amount of testorone in his blood stream then normal. The only pssible way this could have hapened was by the abuse of steriods or heavy dosages of medication containing high levels of steriods in them. No Doctor would prescribe such an amount.

Secondly, "the chair to the head theory", B.S.; for example severe head trauma caused by a blow to the head with a blunt object would cause memory loss (potentially long and short. This is proven through other sport related and vehicular accident victims. Not many of these victims commit mass murder.

Thirdly, dated information of Ex-boxers along with other "high" impact sports play shows the damage and long term affects of repeated hits to the head. Sports have been around for a hundred years.

Thirdly, head trauma would be debilatating and would have the opposite effect of agression and violence.

Chris Benoit had "roid-rage"; his career was failing and he became depressed and angered.

Ted Richards should shut up and not talk about people that he does not know. While I agree wrestling goes too far and is wrong in doing a lot of things they do, I will not slam other people that do like it.Ted Richards probably watches the Sopranos and considers that acting when Tony is slapping people around or murdering them.

You think Ted Richards would appreciate some of WWE actors for his next community theatre play.Guys and Dolls.

Who cares, enough about Benoit already.

It makes me sick that his wife parents are going after his money. Chris has 2 kids that are alive. the estate should go to them. her parents should be allowed her personal thing and given money to pay for the funeral. that money should not go to them and as a mother i can't belive that they even want it. if i was to bury my daughter the last i would be thinking about is money and to even ask who died first makes me sick. you are not entitled to this money. we as parents don't have kids to make money off them. if my son in law killed my daughter and he had children from his first wife i would want that money to be put in trust for them and their mother to receive a monthly allowance no question ask. so think about his sons and stop this so my feeling of you can change. sorry but this makes me so mad. I can't believe that his estate is now up for grabs. First, how does any responsible parent(s) not have a will to protect their children? And second, why does the death order even matter? They both died before he did, therefore neither of them was alive to inherit his wealth at any point in time. His estate should go to his surviving children and not to in-laws of any kind.

All of a sudden wrestling is in the media because of such a tragedy, as much as a wrestling fan I am, I think that this story has had its 15 minutes. Leave the families to grieve. And who's business is it who gets money or not.

I saw in the tabloid the Globe today that there is an interview with Tom "Dynamite Kid" Billington. Tom blames 'roid rage for the deaths of Nancy and Daniel Benoit and has no sympathy for Chris. He even says he's glad that Benoit is dead.
