He'll be a star, and he'll be very good. But the next Duncan? No. Duncan is now regarded as the best power forward in history, and I don't think Oden is quite good enough to match that.

When Duncan came into the league he was much more polished post player than Oden is. Having said that, Duncan has never posessed the explosive jumping and shot blocking capabilities that Oden does.
In the absolute BEST case scenario, Oden will model after a Bill Russell type player (which Portland can only dream for...)
Regardless, the 2007 rookie class will be fun to watch!

I think they'll be decent players.
Just because a guy does well in college doesn't mean it will translate to stardom in the NBA.
