THis is an upgrade in net and after what happened in the cup final I think adding another big player that can skate and hit will help against Ottawa

I think this is a real good deal...it is very obvious goaltending is a weak area and probably cost us a playoff spot last year...now free up some salary and send Raycroft to the Coyote's for Cujo...

.The Leafs do not need another old man coming home to retire. Cujo was an excellent player in his prime but signing him would be a huge mistake! He's has lost his golden touch and should come to grips with reality and retire.

Toskala has an excellent record and should be a great addition to the roster. Can't wait to see what he's got.

Raycroft , simply stated, sucks! With his porous ways in net, will be back-up goalie in no time. He may have had a lot of wins, but his other stats were embarrassing.

I'm tired of hearing all the comments about giving up potential talent....name one of the guys who'd be left when T.O. drafts to help them? Exactly....Leafs have Kumelin, Tlusty, Williams, Earl, Strallman in their system, they picked up two roster players and probably won't need to dip into the FA market and overpay there, unless of course they deal a d-man (please make it McCabe). This is a good deal for the Leafs, but like any deal only time will tell.

Not bad, but too many blue liners, why aren't we promoting some of the Marlies to the big club yet, Mark Moro has earned his shot "I think", trade Kubina and his $5M contract to a team that needs defence like Calgary, or better yet, why not package Kubina, Antropov to Calgary for Tanguay and a low pick?

Re-sign Roberts and lets get a decent GM...Bobby Clarke for Leafs GM...:)

This is the worst trade JFJ has made so far, you give up so much potential, and now you have two back up Golies, I guess JFJ took some notes from Cliff Fletcher "Draft Shmaft". I guess that is why Toronto does not have any stars in their prime years 27-30, right now!

I really don't know why I still Cheer for this team. When are the Preds coming to Hamilton, Ontario Hockey fans need them here!

I think this is a good deal. If fergie didn't make a deal for a goalie then the fans would complain all year anyways. They are not giving up much because this is a weak draft year. By making this trade at least fergie is admitting that he made a mistake last year when signing Raycroft.
