The Falcons have always been my favorite nfl team.

If you don't dismiss Vick for good I'll never come to another Falcons game..

Sincerely, Charles Owens

I can't help but notice that the people making the most damning allegations against Vick are "co-operating witnesses." In other words, they are guilty, but to avoid prosecution they have pointed the finger at the big name. Doesn't mean Vick is innocent, but it sure as hell doesn't make him guilty. If that's all the evidence they've got, then it was grossly irresponsible to proceed with these charges, and slander the man. It will be interesting to see if there is any hard evidence, or just more innuendo coming from more highly dubious sources. Until the case against him has been presented, "den" I guess I'm another one of those idiots who believes in "innocent until PROVEN guilty."

As appalling as the situation is, Michael Vick hasn't been convicted in a court of law as of yet. He's only been convicted in a court of public opinion. The fact that we're hearing only one side of the case and acting hastily is reason enough to be wary. Just remember the situation involving the Duke Lacrosse team and how they were accused of raping a woman and they were presumed guilty because all of these "facts" came out.

As for Vick, if he's found guilty, then definitely he deserves to be punished swiftly and with little mercy. The act of letting dogs fight to the death and then slaughtering animals when they don't measure up is barbaric and inhumane. You could pretty much say it's socio-pathic behaviour. Just very disgusting, but don't get carried away and presume Vick's guilt as of yet.

Mike Smith, 2007-07-23 01:05:30. This, ladies & gentlemen is an example of an idiot pro sports fan or one who actually bleieves in innocent until proven innocent by big time lawyers. Go back to your cave Mike. When you come out maybe the USA will be renaimed Utopia. Yeah Right !!!

If you talk with animals, they will talk with you and you will know each other. if you do not talk to them, you will not know them, and what you do not know, you will fear, what one fear's, one destroys.

I really hope they make an example of Vick, and persecute him to the fullest extent! Dog fighting, cock fighting and bull fights, are inhumane and disgusting. I would love to see Vick in the ring with one of pitbulls

All that needs to be said about this is "what a horrible display of human behavior in the greatest country in the world, that has been historically kind to all forms of life.

Why would someone so loved by his fans stoop so low? A man who has it all. Yes I am a Falcons fan, but I think he should be banned from the sport.

Vick appears to have little respect for life. Sad when one feels money and power are protections against inhumane actions.

Arrainment on a felony charge carries a significant level of evidence. A person in Vick's public position carries with it a higher standard of conduct. He should be permanently suspended from playing NFL football regardless of the outcome of any trial. Since there is enough evidence to susstain an arrainment, this should be sufficient.
