Was Alfredsson aiming for Niedermayer? Mon, June 4, 2007
Do you think Daniel Alfredsson was aiming at the Ducks captain near the end of the second period?
Could this play be a turning point for the Ducks? Will it give them any extra motivation to finish off the Senators at home in Anahiem?

Of course! Why would he wind up, stop look up at the clock and then aim and shoot it into a "corner", which is where it would've ended up if Niedermayer wasn't there.
But he was. I would've taken the shot, a chance for a goalie mistake for a goal. But no! Shot it CLEARLY at Niedermayer.
I used to have some respect for Alfredson, but not now. Totally classless!

You clowns must be Leaf fans. It was a dump in that Neidermayer got in the way of.

What else is new, classless, as usual ! As for motivation, take a look at the score

Oh give me a break Toronto fans. It was an accidental play. Frankly, I'm shocked that you Toronto fans are still watching hockey - I thought you all turned the tv off in December once your team is eliminated from contention.

It looked as though he did, although I can't see why he'd risk a penalty when the game was tied. If it was intentional then I think Alfie will be gone this summer after the Sens lose. They are SO frustrating to cheer for!

Typical leadership from a guy who worshipped Olympic gold growing up..go back to the perimeter Alfie so you do not get hurt...coward..Canadian Captain wins every time..

Yeah, he's a coward and only gets tough when the ref or linesman is holding his opponent. Anyone remember the backstab against the player from Toronto years ago? I think it was Gilmour or Tucker but that is the type of character this creep is.
