Game 1 of the Stanley Cup final averaged 2,608,000 viewers on CBC, down from last year and less than the Toronto-Montreal regular-season finale.
In 2006, the first game of the final between Edmonton and Carolina averaged 3.033 million viewers. In 2004, Game 1 of Calgary-Tampa Bay averaged 3.063 million viewers.

The sens are pre-madonnas, and that makes for VERY boring hockey.

Ottawa may win 1 game, but I wouldn't be surprised at a sweep, UNLESS Ottawa stats to try. I'm not talking about Emery, who has been very solid, despite giving up non stop rebounds.
Game 3 will make or break the Sens, and personally, from watching their play so far, they have given up.

Hockey is more then scoring goals, this is a great series with hitting, outstanding goaltending and playmaking. Being a Sens fan I wish they would play the way they did in the first 3 series, they have stopped crashing the net, shooting the puck (16 shots pitaful)and continue to hit and don't stop it throws off the Ducks.
The only players I think that have showed up so far for the Sens are Fisher, Volchenkov (2 unsung players so far in the playoffs) and Emery who has stepped up big.
I think the Sens now know how the Pens, Devils and Sabres felt when they played the Sens, the Ducks have taken it to them and they don't know what to do.
If the rest of the Sens show up to play it will be a incredible series that would be comparable to the Montreal / Quebec round 1 playoff back in 1993.
Keep the faith! It isn't over yet.
