Who's really 'Canada's team'?
Thu, May 24, 2007

OTTAWA (CP) - With Ottawa as the lone Canadian team in the Stanley Cup finals, it seems more and more people see the Senators as "Canada's team."

A new poll suggests most Canadians still see the Toronto Maple Leafs as the hockey team that most represents the country. Among the nearly one-quarter of Canadians who, when asked, said they are avid hockey fans, 27 per cent picked the Leafs as Canada's team in a Decima poll conducted last weekend.

Forgot to mention in my prior message that I despise the Toronto team, and all their hockey lives in Toronto fans! Go Ottawa. Habs fan that didn't make your poll!

Canada should be warming to the Sens,at least they have a team, instead of Toronto who picks up all the old guys! I don't care about Toronto,I'm a habs fan,at least they're trying!
