As the puck by flew by Buffalo Sabres' goalie Ryan Miller's glove side in OT, Daniel Alfredsson raised his arms in the air, headed for the corner and waited with a smile as the Senators' greatest celebration as Eastern Conference champs was officially underway.
Will the Senators now be able to go all the way? Have your say in our forum.
Yes, I think so. They have toppled all of their opposites in relatively short series. Buffalo might have been their toughest and this Stanley cup race might go 6 or seven games, but I think the Senators are going to be the ones holding that cup above their heads in the end. Go Sens Go!

The only factor which will potentially separate the Sens from Lord Stanley will be the Ray Emery. If he plays well, Sens will win.

The Sens will do what they do every year for the last 10 years C H O K E. They are the biggest choke team in the modern NHL.

Bring the cup home!

Much as I would love for it to happen, I just don't see the Sens winning the Cup. JSG will be the difference - he has all the makings of a Patrick-Roy-style playoff hero. Emery is good, but he hasn't given any indication that he can steal a game if needed...Giggy has

My vote is for the Ducks now that the Wings are gone. I hate Ottawa even more now that I live here. Hopefully I won't have to be here too long. Anything with the name Ottawa attached gets no support from me. I would cheer for Toronto before Ottawa - right after that bullet to the head.
For those that state this would be the first Canadian win since 93 - every year the cup is won by Canadians, just look at where most of the players are from.
Trivia: If Ottawa did win it would be the first time a team with a non Canadian Captain won the cup.
