Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said this week that Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson should have been suspended for a hit from behind on defenceman Henrik Tallinder in overtime of Game 2 of the NHL Eastern Conference final.
Alfredsson said he hadn't seen the replay but felt that "it didn't feel like a hit from behind."
They're the least dirty team in the NHL. They'll match the physical intensity but never cross the line intentionally.

Tim you are wrong. You must be a Buffalo fan lol. The Sens are hardly a goon or dirty team, the hits the Sens put on there opponents are the same every other team in the league does. There are way too many border line checks in every game we watch. Players that dont know how to properly bodycheck are usually the ones hitting from behind.
GO SENS GO!!!!!!!

Goon team???? Are you crazy? Just because they hit hard and don't get pushed around like they used to does not make them a "goon team"!

They are a bunch of goons, and that 's why thier one line is so good by being a goon team they have lots of room to operate. It's time to run emery
