Is Vince Carter a cry-baby?
Fri, April 20, 2007

Break out the diapers because the big baby is back in town. And bring out the baby bottles, soothers and baby food too.

Fans wanting to send a message about just how much you don't like what Vince "Vin-Sissy" Carter did to this town can do so at the Hangar tomorrow with any baby prop you want.

"We will definitely be on hand with pacifiers, bottles and diapers," laughs Raptors super fan Layla Elyassir, 26, one part of the 3-Pointer Girls, who have vowed to not let this game tomorrow go without making a statement.

Mark my words-this guy will never win a ring. Lazy, selfish, and plays for money alone.

The classic thing is people are pretty quick to call a 6'6" 210 lb stud a sissy when he's not around, try it to his face. Coming from a sports population that is short, over weight and calls in sick when they have a sniffel

A) get over it

B) He's as good as he ever was, he just isn't in Toronto (who loved him when he was here

c) He left because for his entire career in Toronto he was berated by the press daily if he was going to leave and up until the end said no I love Toronto

D) He left because they couldn't keep anyone around him, players, coaches and management and was getting burnt every year by it and saw no end in sight

E) his playing went down for two years because he blew a knee out. For all of you ignorant people, when you blow a knee IT HURTS, you might not walk again and phicically it might mend in a few months but it takes about 2 years for it to psychologically heal, which coincides with his come back with the Nets

F) his final months of low playing were due to coaching, he was not the first option at that point because they knew he was leaving and became the bail out when the new guy Bosh couldn't do it. His numbers went down since he had 5 seconds to create but they were still better than the first option Bosh (if you would have checked the raptors website you would have noticed Vince pictures were taken off long before the season started to market the new star Bosh)

Lastly. the more you Boo him the madder he gets (motivation) and the only thing that Carter lacks at time is motivation. When he gets it he becomes Vinsanity. So way to orchestrate Toronto's own play off doom media.

I think it's time (long overdue) for Toronto fans to move on. This constant talk about Carter is totally ridiculous now.

Carter has a ton of talent, but he is soft. He is a prima donna. The Raptors are better off without him! That being said, Go Bulls!!!

who is crying now - get a life - stop bugging him - it just makes him better
juileKKK, 2007-04-21 16:02:35

YES !!! He is the biggest baby in all pro sports. Every time he was hurt he went down like he was shot. I will never forget when he said he would never dunk again in Toronto, if that isn't being a baby then I dont know what is! Glad you aren't here anymore, you were a bad role model the last few years here. Rich athlete whining like a baby when he didn't get his way.

Go Raps Go!!!!!

No, but the people in TO need to get a life - who cares that he left - really are you people this dumb - in pro sports they leave - yea they do - for the money - you would too - really think about it - you would too - so boo him - but i don;t care - really i don't
badabing, 2007-04-20 20:01:24

Big time baby,no class.A real whiner.Hope he brings his soother to Toronto cause he is going to need it.WAA WAA WAA!
geoff, 2007-04-20 17:17:29

Absolutely, he's a cry baby and a slacker. That being said, he is also an amazing basketball talent when he's motivated, and rest assured, he will be motivated. This series is anything but a slam dunk (pardon the pun) for the Raptors. don't forget what Kidd can do also, he's an amazing player.
