Dream March Madness scenarios we'd like to see
By RYAN WOLSTAT, QMI Agency

Whether it is individual talents going at it, trying to will their teams through, or storied rivals facing off, here are some dream potential battles that would really stand out at this year’s NCAA tournament:

SECOND ROUND

No. 4 Michigan vs. No. 13 South Dakota State

A.K.A. Trey Burke vs. Nate Wolters. Burke’s going to be a lottery pick and is one of the NCAA’s premier point guards, but Wolters can score at will and has great size, so there’s a chance of an upset. Wolters dropped 53 points in a game and averages 23.1 on the season. It’s also neat to watch Michigan because they make you feel old, since the sons of Glenn Robinson and Tim Hardaway are key contributors.

No. 7 Creighton vs. No. 10 Cincinnati

Big-time scorer Doug McDermott and Creighton’s strong offence will be tested against Cincinnati’s defence, which is the 15th best in college basketball.

Which player, past or present, would be your first pick to start a basketball team?
  Bill Russell
  Wilt Chamberlain
  Michael Jordan
  Kobe Bryant
  LeBron James
  Kevin Durant
  Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
  Earvin 'Magic' Johnson
  Someone else
