An NCAA men’s basketball team made highlight reels across the U.S. for all the wrong reasons on Saturday.
The Northern Illinois Huskies shot an unprecedented 1-for-31 on the way to scoring a record-low four first-half points at Eastern Michigan.
The 18-4 halftime score was an all-time low for an NCAA Division 1 program, which also shot a record-low 3.2% from the field through the opening 20 minutes.
The Huskies rescued their blushes after the break, scoring a more respectable 21 second-half points before falling 42-25.
