Tyler Ennis wore a Raptors jersey and worked out on the team’s practice court on Thursday afternoon, fulfilling a lifelong dream, but don’t expect him to join up full-time next month.

Ennis, a standout in his lone season at Syracuse, is expecting to go in the top 10-15 picks at the NBA draft, while the Raptors — barring a trade — will not select until No. 20.

That didn’t make the workout any less fun for the Brampton product, who chose to come home for his first draft workout, with stops in Sacramento, Los Angeles and Orlando on deck.

Ennis said it was hard to believe how far he had come, after working out at the ACC for Canada’s senior men’s team just two years ago.

“Yeah, yeah. It felt like so long ago. It was two years ago, I was going into my senior year of high school at the time,” Ennis told a large media contingent.
