The season is over, the players have scattered and work has begun on making the Toronto Raptors better. Here is how we grade each Raptor for the full year, including the playoffs (mid-term marks in parentheses):
DeMar DeRozan: B (B+) Best season of his career, an all-star berth earned, was followed by a solid playoff debut. After a brutal opening game against the Nets, DeRozan played well.
Landry Fields: D (D-) Did not get much of a chance to show what he could do. Should have been used more against Joe Johnson. Contract has been a disaster.
Chuck Hayes: C (B) Solid, veteran piece. Played tremendous defence when in the game and contributed when called upon in the playoffs.
Tyler Hansbrough: D (C) Seemed to lose confidence of coaching staff when recovery from injury was drawn out. Never reasserted himself and overall, was a disappointment.
Amir Johnson: C (C-) Was not the consistent two-way stalwart he has been in the past.
