The case against a member of the Toronto Raptors busted for drinking and driving has been put over until next month.

Jonas Valanciunas, 21, was charged by Huronia West OPP on April 7 with over .80.

Police allege the Raptor centre drove a vehicle through a drive-thru restaurant in Wasaga Beach at around 2:30 a.m. that morning with open beer bottles in plain view.

Valanciunas was not in court for the first appearance; Etai Hilzenret acted as agent for the basketball star's lawyer, Alan Gold.

Hilzenret breezed by reporters after the brief appearance, refusing to speak.

The case is scheduled to come back May 27.
