The second Raptors’ banner of any sort was raised to the roof by the team prior to the win over the Milwaukee Bucks, a franchise-record 48th win of the season.

It’s an achievement worth noting, no question, but don’t get overly excited about it.

Masai Ujiri was not.

The Raptors general manager referred to the banner-raising a couple of hours before it occurred as “a little bit” of an accomplishment.

It’s clear his expectations are much bigger for this team and rightly so.

Ujiri has always ducked the question of what exactly his plan is for this team. He prefers to speak in generalities, talking about giving this club a platform to perform and letting them dictate the direction.
