A 50-win season, home court in the opening round of the post-season, scenarios that were once unimaginable are suddenly within reach in this improbable of all Raptors seasons.

It’s mind-boggling to even contemplate such feats, but it’s there for the taking, quite attainable as this group somehow stays in the moment and not look past any opponent.

“We control our own destiny,’’ said Greivis Vasquez. “We got to run the table.”

If they can, and the schedule sets up perfectly for the Raptors, there’s no need to worry about out-of-town scoreboard watching, an exercise Vasquez admits he briefly engaged in Saturday night when Toronto survived some late-game drama against the host Bucks, knowing full well that both the Bulls and Nets had beaten their opponents.

With five games remaining, the Raptors can finish anywhere from third to fifth in the East, their fate very much in their own hands, either on the road to begin the opening round or at home.
