TORONTO - The post-season feel was palpable, the play akin to the playoffs and the kind of game required for success when late April rolls around.

The OKC Thunder has been down this path before, playing on the NBA’s ultimate stage with a title at stake.

The Raptors aren’t going to be competing for a championship this spring, but they put up a battle worthy of a playoff team, unable to finish a game they should have won had they taken care of the basketball.

With 1.7 seconds left in double overtime, Kevin Durant scored his 51st point on a three-pointer to lift Oklahoma City to its 119-118 win.

Toronto led by eight points with 48 seconds left, but they got sloppy and ended paying the price.

It should have been a night to remember for the home side, turning into one to forget as Atlanta comes to town on Sunday.
