TORONTO - Consider it some overdue payback.

It was just under three months ago that the Raptors waltzed into Oakland and had the Golden State Warriors not just on the ropes, but on the canvas and in jeopardy of a knockout.

But the 27-point lead wasn’t enough. Nor was an 18-point lead after three quarters. The Warriors wiped it all out with a barrage of three-pointers and some inspired inside play by onetime Raptor Jermaine O’Neal.

It left the Raptors shaking their heads like they had just been run over.

Five days later, GM Masai Ujiri dealt Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings and the entire season changed for the Raptors.

On Sunday, the two teams played it pretty even for most of the afternoon. Both teams had their runs, but down the stretch it was the Raptors that found their way.
